Camel at Popeye's eating chicken and fries

Clipse Ft Cam'ron "Popular demand"

Last 2 weeks I've been spending my time understanding the Hip Hop culture.

A good friend of my come to visit me and show me the XXL DEFJAM 25th anniversary article and a bunch of information about the gender.

All that I can say is: "This is a good track who talks about "Today's Hip Hop Culture" with the essence of the past as well.

I hope you like it too.

Flying lotus "Camel"

I love this guy. All the tunes I've hear so far are amazing.
The combination with great videos and stunning sound elements makes your soul and mind get together but at the same time far.

(of course if you don't believe in that, i could explain that as "what tha f..... is going on in your brain trying to defined the beat but feeling rhythm) Wow great video and great song too.

See you soon and don't forget to leave some comments.

Cheers

Good Monday everyone. The two songs for the week will be all about Urban culture.

My first track comes from Royce da 5'9'' Detroit Hip Hop artist with an old career on the Hip hop field since TOMMY BOY records. He start to develop music for Grand Theft Auto III.

A good example of his solo work is this song call: "Shake this"

My second artist will be Bomba Estero. They are from Colombia and I hear the music on a BIG M bugger franchise commercial pretty good song

The name of this track is: "FUEGO"

Cheers and have a good week

Hello again.

Those are my music references for the week I hope you like it:

I first would like to talk about Erlend Oye; he is a creative music bio-machine. He has many good music projects you should look up.

One of those projects is "The whitest boy alive". They defined themselves as dance music with their own taste, for me, that taste is a biorganic dance music taste. I could described as meloncoly with sparks "control of happiness". See by your self.

The song "Golden Cage"

The second song I would like to share with you comes from Sébastien Tellier. He is from France and his two passions are Politics and Sex.

In his own words:

The song: "Broadway"

This song reminds me some kind of structures that The Beattles used on their songs. I hope you like it. Cheers and see you next week.

Feel free to leave a comment and show some songs that you should like too.

Ciao

Hello there.
I want to apologies to all of you because I couldn't put the song that I was hearing this week and last week, but I'm glad to announce that today you will see 4 songs compiling the last two weeks.

Maria Rita

She has developed her own jazzy vocal style with samba. I like the way she does it

Cheers for that

Sergio Mendes

Brazilian music legend Sergio Mendes take me always to a Tropic rain forest with all the music that he composes. This is a good prove of it.

Amadou & Mariam et Manu Chao

My thrid song is from a couple: Amadou & Mariam with Manu Chao. The name of the song is "dance of laughs" pretty cool I think, don't you think the same?

Last but not least I have a the amazing Manu Chao singing with kids. Great songs and great audience.

Coconuts/programers/hardware never sound better together

Hello Everyone this week I will share with you some of the most important tracks I had heard last week.

"Around the world" Daft Punk's most recognize song in hands of some of the most important latin american exposer (I think) "Señor Coconut"

"Señor Coconut" is a German guy how likes to play with Latin American elements and translate with this Latin American instruments covers from Michael Jackson to Kraftwerk or Sade's "Smooth operator"

In his own words or at least the words from the myspace page of him:

"If you are going to cover the pearls of international pop, you really have to contribute a powerful idea of your own"

Here is "Around the world" by: Señor Coconut UHU!!!!!
My other track is Listening tree by Timexile

The other guy I would like to talk is "Timexile" another amazing midi programer who works with all the elements around him to create music in real time with his personal "performance broad hardware" I would name it.

The hardware array controls various custom-made processors in the software of a really high quality software developers.

Quiet Impressive.
He is touring the US and Canada but I hope to see him one day see in Latin America.
